Diversified Technique

The most common technique used by chiropractors in this country. The doctor uses the position of the patient’s body and a gentle thrust to adjust the vertebrae. “Clicking and popping” sensations are sometimes felt. This is known as an “audible.”

What to Expect

First Visit

The first visit to our Brielle chiropractor is a no commitment appointment. It gives you the opportunity to meet the doctor and ask any questions you may have. We will have you fill out some brief paperwork describing you, your health history, and your health goals. If you and the doctor decide you are a chiropractic candidate, and you would like start care at our office, an examination follows. It’s a very simple and non invasive exam, testing your body’s strengths and weaknesses relative to your spine. The doctor may recommend you take pictures of your spine that day as well. The total time for this appointment will be about 45 minutes.

Second Visit

After your first visit, the doctor will take time to review and study the results of your exam and films. We will bring you back for your second visit to discuss these findings with you. This appointment will take approximately 15 minutes. If the doctor finds that it would be more beneficial for you to see a different specialist, we’ll make the proper referral. Otherwise, we’ll recommend a program of care to fit your needs, goals, and expectations. The final decision is always the patient’s, and we respect and support whichever visit frequency you may choose.
